Georgia Ella Beauty specialises in brow shaping and maintenance. From tints to tattooing, we have mastered brow shapes and transformations in all the ways you may desire. Our aftercare instructions are designed to help you maximise your results, and keep them for longer.

If you have booked one of the following; brow mapping, brow tidy, tint, stain, wax - these aftercare instructions will have you covered.

Brow Tint or Hybrid Stain Aftercare

  • Avoid applying fake tan or makeup around the brow area for 24 hours

    • Apply fake tan 24 hours before ore after your tint will discolour your brows and turn them orange!

    • If you apply makeup on the brow too early, you may risk the tint not developing properly, or prematurely scrubbing off your tint once you remove the makeup.

  • Do not use exfoliants/ retinoids for 3-4 days

    • For the same reason as above, avoid using physical or chemical exfoliants including glycolic acid, AHA's and BHA's, as doing so soon after your appointment will prematurely break down the tint, meaning it won't last as long.

  • Avoid saunas & steam rooms, as well as excessive sweating

  • Avoid heavy face creams and oils

    • These products will break down your tint, meaning it won't last as long.

Brow Wax Aftercare

  • Avoid applying fake tan or makeup around the waxed area for 24 hours

    • The hair follicle is essentially 'open' after being waxed, without leaving time for it to 'close', the fake tan may settle into that open space and create a pore like appearance.

  • Do not tweeze or trim your brows when they're growing out

    • Tweezing before your next wax will affect the growth cycle of your hair. Whilst the other hair is ready to be waxed at your next appointment, the hair you decided to tweeze will always be out of sync, and you will continue to need to to tweeze it between appointments.

  • Do not use exfoliants/ retinoids for 3-4 days

    • Your skin will be sensitive after a wax, because it is a form of physical exfoliation. Essentially, applying further exfoliants like those listed above will create irritation.

  • Avoid saunas & steam rooms, as well as excessive sweating

    • After a wax your skin will be particularly sensitive, avoid irritation from saunas, steam rooms etc

This should be everything you need to maintain your results! If you would like to book in with Georgia Ella Beauty, please do so here: https://www.georgiaellabeauty.co.uk/book-an-appointment
