Semi Permanent Makeup Aftercare: The Healing Process

  • DAY 1-2:

    • Your brows will be swollen/ slightly sore. You may see redness

    • Your brows will feel dark, too bold and too thick

    • You may be worrying about how they look

  • DAY 3-4:

    • Swelling will start to reduce

    • Your brows may still feel too dark but they will start to fade

    • Your brows will begin to scab and become itchy

  • DAY 5-7:

    • Your brows will continue to scab and itch

    • Once formed, the scabs will start to fall/ flake off. This is often a gradual process

  • DAY 8-10:

    • Once the scab starts to fall off, the pigment underneath will be extremely pale

    • The pigment will return, and it will be a softer colour than 1-2

    • You may feel the brow looks patchy

  • DAY 11-28:

    • The pigment will re-appear

    • The colour will look more even as the brow heals.
