Semi Permanent Makeup Aftercare: The Healing Process
DAY 1-2:
Your brows will be swollen/ slightly sore. You may see redness
Your brows will feel dark, too bold and too thick
You may be worrying about how they look
DAY 3-4:
Swelling will start to reduce
Your brows may still feel too dark but they will start to fade
Your brows will begin to scab and become itchy
DAY 5-7:
Your brows will continue to scab and itch
Once formed, the scabs will start to fall/ flake off. This is often a gradual process
DAY 8-10:
Once the scab starts to fall off, the pigment underneath will be extremely pale
The pigment will return, and it will be a softer colour than 1-2
You may feel the brow looks patchy
DAY 11-28:
The pigment will re-appear
The colour will look more even as the brow heals.
