Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Georgia Ella Beauty you agree to the the terms and conditions as laid out on this page.

This excludes bridal makeup services, of which terms and conditions are provided separately.

Introduction

For the purpose of these terms and conditions, the 'client' is considered any persons who: uses Georgia Ella Beauty's booking system in any capacity to book, cancel, reschedule and/or attends an appointment, as well as anyone who requests a booking is made for them via Georgia Ella Beauty.

OPENING HOURS

Our opening hours can be found here.

AVAILABILITY 

How to find our availability: Our availability is provided during booking. Georgia Ella Beauty's diary opens 2 months ahead of the day. For example on 12th August, our availability shows up to 12th October.  If you wish to book outside of the 2 month availability, please contact us directly.

Our diary closes 48 hours prior to the day, meaning the earliest you can book online is 2 days ahead. We may be able to accommodate last minute bookings, please contact us directly.

Preferred time/ date not showing: If your preferred date and time is not available on our booking site, please contact us directly as we may have availability to accommodate. Alternatively, join our waitlist and we will be in touch if/when your slot becomes available.

Out of hours appointment: Where possible, Georgia Ella Beauty offers appointments outside of opening hours for an additional £10. If you wish to book out of hours, please contact us directly to do so.

BOOKING MULTIPLE TREATMENTS

If you wish to book multiple appointments or treatments, our booking system will allow you to do this in one transaction. This means you can schedule multiple treatments on different days at different times. Please read the full terms and conditions before booking.

REPEAT APPOINTMENTS

Georgia Ella Beauty offers clients the opportunity to schedule appointments on a repeat schedule to save time on booking. If you wish to do this please let us know at the studio.

PARKING

Parking on site is available and free to use. Georgia Ella Beauty is not liable for your personal property should you damage it, and Georgia Ella Beauty will not be held responsible if damage is caused by you to others, or by others to you. The client will be held responsible for any damage made to the premises and will cover financial costs for damage. 

CONTACT US

Our fastest response is via social media. Our emails are not monitored regularly, so we may miss urgent requests. 

Georgia Ella Beauty does not have a business number, however we may occasionally contact you via phone for urgent notices. Please do not contact Georgia Ella Beauty on a separate matter via phone.

LOCATION

We are located in Telford Shropshire, TF11. For privacy reasons, our exact address is not openly provided or advertised online. Our full address will be provided in your reminder email, issued 48 hours before your booking.

HARRASSMENT & ABUSE

Georgia Ella Beauty does not tolerate any form of harassment, abuse or threatening behaviour within the salon, or via media and telecommunication. Where the client is harassing, threatening or abusive, Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to: refuse service without refund, block the client from making further bookings, and/ or block the client on social media. 

Booking

BOOKING

A cancellation or booking fee is required to secure your booking. Either fee is non-refundable, non-transferable. Please consider this before booking; only do so if it is suitable to your circumstances. More details are provided in the sections below.

MINIMUM AGE

All clients of Georgia Ella Beauty must be aged 16 years or above. For Semi-permanent makeup, clients must be aged 18 or above.

Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to request photo identification before completing services or refuse service without refund where photo identification is not available. 

CONSULTATION FORM

Required for: Completion of consultation forms are required for all SPMU, brow and lash appointments. In some cases, it is also required for makeup services where a client is particularly sensitive to reactions.

Completion: It is necessary the relevant form be completed before the appointment to rule out contraindications for your safety.

If your consultation form is not submitted prior to arrival, we must complete this in your appointment time. In this case, we will continue to operate until the appointment's scheduled finish time, meaning your treatment may not be finished however, outstanding payment is still due. 

The relevant consultation form will be attached when booking. However, in the case you book multiple treatments together, you will be provided with a link to the consultations forms that require completion in the same manner.

When you'll need to submit a new form: Completion of consultation forms are required only once (per treatment) UNLESS there is a change to the information you first provided.

All clients are responsible for informing Georgia Ella Beauty of any changes to the information provided on their consultation form prior to treatment. This includes, but is not limited to, a change in contraindications, new medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

If unsure what to changes to inform Georgia Ella Beauty of, the client should assume Georgia Ella Beauty will need to be informed of any change in their lifestyle and/ or health. 

PATCH TEST

Required for: A patch test is required for SPMU, lash and brow treatments, excluding brow wax. Each new treatment you book with Georgia Ella Beauty requires a patch test with us, despite perhaps having this treatment with other providers to no ill effect. 

All clients are required to attend a new patch test if 6 months have elapsed since the last attended appointment for the corresponding treatment. You can find your last appointment via your account page, under 'my bookings', or via your booking confirmation emails.

If the client is unsure which patch test to book, they may wish to schedule 'consultation & patch test'. This option is also best for clients who would like our recommendation for treatment. Alternatively, if the client books the wrong type of patch test, Georgia Ella Beauty will issue the appropriate test according to the treatment booked.

Booking a patch test: Patch tests are free to book online and must be attended no later 48 hours in advance of the treatment date.

Please book a patch test prior to scheduling your desired treatment. The client is responsible for scheduling this appointment and ensuring they do so in a timely manner, so as to avoid lack of availability.

No patch test attended: Patch tests are a condition of service. If the client fails to book or attend a patch test appropriately but arrives for their treatment, Georgia Ella Beauty must refuse treatment due to health and safety. Because Georgia Ella Beauty has made it known during each stage of the booking process that a patch test is required - as well as providing multiple opportunities to book one - the client will be charged the full treatment rate for not having an appropriate test. This is because Georgia Ella Beauty has provided ample opportunity to meet conditions of service, and will be otherwise left with monetary losses.

Disclaimer: Patch tests are not a guarantee that the corresponding treatment will not result in any adverse reaction. Allergic reactions can appear or develop at any time without prior knowledge, often appearing only once the treatment is done. This is not a term specific to Georgia Ella Beauty, and is an industry wide patch test disclaimer. This is not something Georgia Ella Beauty can prevent. The client is aware of, agrees and understands the risks of reaction, and accepts this risk when booking any treatment, therefore releasing Georgia Ella Beauty from liability.

Example: there is evidence within the industry, that clients who received a correctly conducted lash extension patch test still reacted once the full service was completed. The amount of glue used in an eyelash extension patch test is often not enough to highlight any reaction; for most, the amount that is used in a full set will expose allergies. Some necessary ingredients in products used are contact allergens (eyelash extension glue, for example) and more frequent contact can result in a reaction.  

CONCERNS & COMPLAINTS

Where applicable, the client may wish to contact Georgia Ella Beauty directly to raise a concern or complaint.

The client will raise any treatment related concerns or complaints within the appointment time. The client accepts treatments offered by Georgia Ella Beauty have subjective results, the client is aware the portfolio and styles of work are publicly and freely available to peruse at any time. Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to handle or resolve a complaint as they see fit. This may be by explaining professional decisions made for the client as part of the service, offering to make a change to the client's liking, offering to make a correction where possible, or refusal of any of the former. 

For concerns or complaints made outside of the appointment time, Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to refuse allocation of further time to rectify client concerns.

Georgia Ella Beauty's say is final. The client will not hold Georgia Ella Beauty in contempt or slander where the client; has not followed terms and conditions; is not satisfied with the resolution proposed; is not satisfied with changes/ corrections made.

Patch test policy

Payment & Refunds

PAYMENT

All payments made at the studio are due in cash If the client does not present the cash amount owed at the point of payment, Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to charge a 5% administrative fee to recover the costs of the outstanding balance. Except, for unforeseen payments such as add-on treatments or products purchased at the salon, Georgia Ella Beauty accepts other payment methods without additional charges where the client would not reasonably have the proper cash amount available to cover that cost. 

Booking made online, and chose to pay in person: Payment will be owed in full at the salon. We accept CASH ONLY. 

Booking made online, and chose to pay in full online: No payment is outstanding. Refund terms apply, see here.

Booking made by Georgia Ella Beauty on behalf of the client: Booking fee is required in this case; payable by cash or card. The remaining payment (usually 50%) will be due in CASH ONLY.

Georgia Ella Beauty does not allow clients to leave the premises before finalising payment.

The card payment provider you select may have separate terms & conditions to those listed here, Georgia Ella Beauty is not responsible for the agreement you make separately with them.

SPREADING THE COST OF YOUR BOOKING FEE: SPLIT PAYMENTS & PAY IN 3 

Georgia Ella Beauty offers pay pal as a payment method where you wish to spread the cost. This is especially helpful where you wish to make multiple bookings. As of 13/08/24, the minimum amount pay pal accepts for PAY IN 3 is £30.​

Please note: Paypal is very expensive for our small business to offer to our clientele. In order to continue offering this service, please only use pay pal for the pay in 3 option.

REFUNDS

Refund requests after visiting: Georgia Ella Beauty offers treatments and services of which cost, products, and time spent are irrecoverable. ​

Refund requests prior to visiting: Georgia Ella Beauty offers appointment only treatments, dedicating a set amount of time in their availability to each booking. When the client books, they obligate Georgia Ella Beauty to provide exclusive time to them (of which is finite), in return of payment. For this reason, a minimum charge of 50% is payable to recover losses from the booking in the case the client cancels. See cancellation fees for more information.

Refunds after cancelling: As per the terms and conditions regarding cancellation below, in no circumstance will a booking or cancellation fee be refunded where the client cancels.  

Paying in full online: Taking account of the terms above, if any payment is due to you it will be returned in the form of store credit (unless in the case of us cancelling).

Where refunds are applicable: In the case Georgia Ella Beauty must change or cancel a booking, a refund will be available to the value of the client's payment for that booking.

CHARGEBACKS

Georgia Ella Beauty requests that any client who is not familiar with, or would like to dispute, a charge on their account, please contact us as their first port of call. Any client who wrongly requests a chargeback, whether successful or not, will be liable for fees charged to Georgia Ella Beauty. An invoice will be sent to you.

Please note: If you are expecting a refund from us but can not locate it, we may have already issued the refund to you from a different account or name than the details your payment was taken from. if for any reason, such as cancellations made by us, Georgia Ella Beauty has issued a refund to you, this may be via bank transfer. Please contact us if you are expecting a refund and you can not see it on your bank statement within 28 days.

CANCELLATION

Notice: As of November 2024, Georgia Ella Beauty trialed cancellation fees in place of booking fees. This is after consulting our clientele on their preferences between the two. A cancellation fee allows customers to book more appointments without the upfront cost of a booking fee, which was previously 50%. In order to maintain security in our appointments, whilst providing better service to clients, the cancellation fee will remain the same amount as the booking fee, which was non-refundable in any circumstance. Terms and fees for cancellation can be found below. â€‹

How to cancelTo cancel your booking, login to your account and select 'my bookings', locate your treatment. You can select 'cancel' from here. Alternatively, please contact us as we may be able to cancel for you. â€‹

CANCELLATION FEES:

Georgia Ella Beauty offers appointment only treatments, dedicating a set amount of time in their availability to each booking. When the client books, they obligate Georgia Ella Beauty to provide exclusive time to them (of which is finite) in return of payment. For this reason, a cancellation fee is a non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-refundable charge, to recover costs of your cancelled booking.

Fees will be applied as follows...

All bookings from the point of being created, up to 48 hours prior to appointment: 50% cancellation fee, calculated from the booking total.

Cancellation with notice provided within 48 hours or less: 80% cancellation fee, calculated from the booking total

Cancellation without notice (no show): 100% cancellation fee, calculated from the booking total. Following 15 minutes from your start time, it will be assumed the client is a no show where no notice is provided.​

How to provide notice to cancel: By providing notice to cancel, your fees may be less. 'Notice' is provided if you have followed the steps in 'how to cancel'.  â€‹

Please note: if you paid in full online for your booking, you may need to contact us to see if store credit is available for the difference after your cancellation fee has been accounted for.

Cancellation fees do not apply if you paid a booking fee; we kindly ask you still provide notice if cancelling.

​

Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to refuse service on any future bookings.

BOOKING FEE

In some cases, a booking fee is required, instead of a cancellation fee, to secure your booking. A booking fee will be payable per treatment booked (exclusive of patch tests).

BOOKING FEES: 50%, calculated from the appointment total; remaining due in cash on the day.

​

Cases that apply: We may ask you to secure your booking with a booking fee where Georgia Ella Beauty creates the appointment on your behalf. 

Process: Once we create the appointment, we will send over the booking details alongside a separate booking fee email. This will include an option to secure your booking via card.

RESCHEDULING

Georgia Ella Beauty offers clients the opportunity to request their booking be rescheduled, provided such request is submitted more than 48 hrs prior to the appointment. Clients can do so by contacting Georgia Ella Beauty directly. Please email georgiaellabeauty@gmail.com, or contact us on socials @georgiaellabeauty

All rescheduled appointments must be for the same treatment or service as the initial booking.

Rescheduling limit: Please note the booking, and associated fees, can only be transferred ONCE up to 2 months from the initial booking. For appointments outside of the 2 month window, the booking can not be transferred and either a cancellation fee will apply, or your booking fee will be lost.

The client can only reschedule the initial booking (under the same booking fee) one time. Any further requests to reschedule, with any given period of notice, will not be accepted. This will be treated as a new booking.

Our obligation: Georgia Ella Beauty is not required to make themselves available for a client's rescheduling request. All requests are accepted on the basis Georgia Ella Beauty has the availability to reschedule. The client accepts that the rescheduling request must be accepted, and simply submitting a request to reschedule is not an automatic right to service. 

The client accepts at the time of booking that Georgia Ella Beauty may not have availability to reschedule in the 2 month window offered to clients, but the terms and conditions for rescheduling remains in place and does not waiver.

LATENESS

Georgia Ella Beauty offers a 15 minute grace period to clients running late. We will continue to operate until the appointment's scheduled finish time.

Up to 15 minutes late: The scheduled treatment may not be completed due to time constraints outside of Georgia Ella Beauty's control, however outstanding payment is still due. 

Later than 15 minutes:  Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to consider the booking a cancellation with no notice (no show). See here. If notice is provided, we will aim to continue your service until the scheduled end time. However, as we only schedule enough time to complete the service, your treatment may be incomplete, and the outstanding payment is still due.

NO PATCH TEST

Where the client attends an appointment without a prior applicable patch test completed by Georgia Ella Beauty, the client will be refused service for the treatment with outstanding payment due.

Alternative treatments: Where possible, Georgia Ella Beauty will offer appropriate alternative treatments that fit within the scheduled appointment time. Alternatives offered will be up to the total value of the scheduled appointment, however the client understands it is not always possible to provide alternatives to the exact amount owed. Products are not included in this offer. In any case the full amount of the original booking is due. If alternative solutions are not possible, or the client refuses alternatives offered, the outstanding amount is owed. It can not be transferred, saved, refunded, or applicable to any new treatments booked. 

EXCEPTIONS

Georgia Ella Beauty does not have any exceptions to the terms and conditions laid out. The client understands that such policies are in place to protect Georgia Ella Beauty from monetary losses and despite being personable and caring professionals with great client rapport, Georgia Ella Beauty operates as a business and cannot waiver or make exceptions to its policies. 

Despite client circumstances, Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to abide by periods of notice for cancelling, rescheduling, refunds or other relevant terms.

Rewards Club

POINTS

Points are gained only through attending an appointment. The points are automatically topped up within 24 hours.

REEDEMING

Points can only be redeemed once an account is made via georgiaellabeauty.co.uk. Points can not be backdated or applied for appointment booked prior to creating an account. Points must be redeemed via online booking, they can not be redeemed via alternative methods. Georgia Ella Beauty is not obliged to provide, or may not have available, the proper change once a discount has been applied at booking. The client is required to bring the correct and exact amount owed. â€‹

CANCELLING AN APPOINTMENT

If your appointment is cancelled, points gained for the booked appointment will be removed by Georgia Ella Beauty.

Points redeemed against an appointment which is later cancelled will be lost.

DISCLAIMER

Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to end or remove the rewards club scheme at any time without prior notice or reason. In this case, points gained are not owed by Georgia Ella Beauty by way of monetary value or other methods. Georgia Ella Beauty will not provide points or discounts earned as part of the rewards club scheme in any other form.

Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to withdraw or remove points at any time without prior notice. 

Points and rewardscan not be transferred to another date once booked, meaning if you wish to reschedule your appointment, the offer will be removed. The offer can not be re-applied to another appointment if you choose to cancel. This offer can not be shared with, or used by, anyone but you.

Discounts, Offers & Gift Cards

Georgia Ella Beauty reserves the right to withdraw or remove offers and/ or discounts advertised at any time without prior notice. Minimum spends and exclusions may apply. 

The client agrees to the specific terms of flash offers as outlined in the details of the discounts or offers. 

The discount or offer can not be transferred to another date once booked, meaning if you wish to reschedule your appointment, the offer will be removed. The offer can not be re-applied to another appointment if you choose to cancel. This offer can not be shared with, or used by, anyone but you.

Please contact us to redeem your offer; Evidence must be provided that a 5 star review and social media shout out has been made.

Must include a selfie of your completed treatment that you have taken, where you can see an unfiltered/ clear outcome of your treatment. Re-sharing our posts, or old photos, do not count.

We don't always get notified of your tag, please screenshot the shout out after 23/24 hours of posting and send it over to us.

Reviews:

Reviews must include a statement and refer to your treatment. 

 

REFERRALS

Georgia Ella Beauty offers a referral scheme for you and your referral to receive rewards.

To redeem:  Ask your friend/ family to include your full name upon booking (there is a specific section to do this). £20 minimum spend. Once they have attended their appointment, we'll send you both your reward! 

Excludes:Patch test appointments not included as part of the offer. Expires 6 months from the point the offer is made.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards and gift vouchers offered by Georgia Ella Beauty do not extend to bridal services.

Terms of expiry and applicable treatments are outlined at the point of purchase.

Georgia Ella Beauty is not responsible for lost gift cards, or incorrect detail entry made by the customer.

Failure to Adhere

FAILURE TO ADHERE TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

Georgia Ella Beauty relies on the willingness of the client to adhere to the terms & conditions of service. Examples of this include, but are not limited to: attending a patch test as required (at least 48 hours prior to treatment), honouring the payment of their booking fee, rescheduling within the terms and limits provided.

Where the client fails to adhere to terms and conditions, they accept that this will naturally involve negative impacts and consequences to Georgia Ella Beauty as a victim of circumstance. Examples of this include, but are not limited to: arriving for a scheduled treatment without a required patch test, requesting a charge back of the booking fee, harassing or intimidating Georgia Ella Beauty to reschedule outside of the agreed terms and conditions.

The client agrees not to further negatively impact Georgia Ella Beauty by making or sharing written or oral statements that may be considered false, harmful, or with the intent to damage the reputation of the business or its owner.
